Discover the Truth About Africa and the African Diaspora

Are you ready to uncover the truth behind the myths of African and African American history?
Did the Emancipation Proclamation truly free all enslaved people in 1863?
Are you a Truth-Seeker passionate about knowing and sharing accurate history?

Welcome to GriotSpeaks, a transformative journey that illuminates the rich, untold stories of Africa and the African Diaspora. Black history in the US is being minimized and erased.  The contributions Black people have made to the US and the world are under-acknowledged.  This is a problem for people of all ethnicities in this country.  It negatively impacts Black pride and it paints a distorted pcture of Black insignigcance to non-Blacks – thus undermining their alue to society..  Preconizing and knowing accurate Balck history/information lifts Black pride and creates an environment where both Blacks and non-Blacks can celebrate Black accomplishments that have helped to shape this county and the world.  Black youth who grow up in this environment will develop a healthy sense of self (self respect).  Non-Blacks will gain a reframed appreciation for the human capital value of Black people.  This can potentially begin to erase hundreds of years of a lopsided perspective of Black people and create a country where we are all healed and can be truly united.

People are not aware that Slavery is white history too.
